Child Protection Child Protection
Ware cricket club believes:

1. All young people, children and vulnerable adults have a right to protection.

2. The safety and welfare of children should always be of paramount importance, whatever the circumstances.

3. That everyone with a role in working with children has a responsibility to safeguard and promote a child's welfare particularly when it comes to protecting children from abuse.

4. Special care is needed in dealing with children whose age, inexperience or physical condition makes them particularly vulnerable to abuse.

5. Sufficient training must be made available to coaches, officials and administrators to provide them with the necessary knowledge to ensure good coaching practice is always maintained. Training must also be available to allow coaches to recognise potential signs of abuse and which organisations to contact.
