Mid July

Quick update

Our best wishes go to Mike Vaughan who is undergoing chemotherapy treatment In Princess Alexandra hospital in Harlow, he has been there for a few weeks now. We all hope that he is back at home soon.

On the pitch it was a difficult weekend with both Saturday sides being easily beaten, the twos played top of the table Datchworth who chased the 115 in quick time despite some good Ware bowling especially from Ben. Nick Griffin was again the top batsman. The one's lost at home to Langleybury despite another 50 for Kev, we leaked too many runs even with Scott and Jon bowling very well again. Unfortunately the Sunday team had to be cancelled but we still had an excellent All Stars session again in the morning followed by a barbecue and a softball match. On to next Saturday and Sunday.

Further ahead we have the Ian Don match on the 26th July at Hertford - are you available?
